My research intrest aims to explore the mechanisms that are implicated in the etiology, maintenance, and treatment of trauma and related disorders to develop novel techniques to improve intervention plans. by using experimental psychopathology to study both adaptive and maladaptive expressions of trauma psychopathology-linked traits among diverse samples. I also translate basic cognitive and behavioral neuroscience findings to develop and test empirically-derived treatment, and treatment augmentation strategies.
