Al Ain University (AAU) took part in the meeting organized by Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) to introduce the new comprehensive social studies curricula. The meeting, attended by 36 public and private educational bodies, aimed to introduce the content of the sixth-grade comprehensive social studies curriculum in order to gather feedback to pave the way to introduce the new curricula. School visits, resources, websites, links, and projects are all part of the support ADEC is hoping to provide for teachers and students. The meeting also aimed at encouraging collaboration among educational institutions to help solve problems students face in general and instill the basic values of respecting the law, volunteer work, and health and safety.

The dean of the college of education, Dr. Omar Khasawneh, represented AAU in the meeting along with faculty members from the college of education.
