"Their happiness is our goal" initiative on the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day
In cooperation with the Department of Special Education at the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences and Al Ain Center for the Care and Rehabilitation, the Red Crescent Student Club (Aoun Community Service Team) in the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a carnival for children under the slogan “Their happiness is our goal”, on the occasion of the International Day of People with Special Needs and the International Day of Down Syndrome.
The carnival included a range of activities such as drawing and coloring, decorating sweets, sports, and recreational competitions.
The carnival was attended by Prof. Ibtehal Abu Rezeq- Vice President for Development and Follow-up Affairs and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Imad Al-Ghazu- Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Samir Duqmak- Director of the Special Education Program, along with a number of academic and administrative staffs. Where the Aoun Community Service team was able to create an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.
