CAEP Accreditation Status & Reviewed Programs

The College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences (CoEHSS) at Al-Ain University is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation educator preparation programs. 

CoEHSS is engaged in ongoing assessment and continuous improvement. The following programs were accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in October 2022 at the initial-licensure level:

  1. Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Teaching (PPDT)
  2. Bachelor of Education in Special Education (SPED)

 

 The next accreditation visit will take place in Spring 2029

 

All programs offered by AAU are also accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), which is the national quality assurance and regulatory agency responsible for evaluation and accreditation of higher educational institutions and universities in the UAE.
