A theatrical show in celebration of the International Mother Language Day
The Deanship Student Affairs at Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi campus), in collaboration with the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, organized a theatrical playshow involving a group of creative students from various colleges to commemorate the International Mother Language Day.
A diverse group of students from different cultures participated, speaking various languages and introducing the audience to famous equipment and tools characteristic of those countries. Musical segments were also incorporated into the theatrical presentation to enhance engagement and enjoyment.
The event included an accompanying exhibition, allowing attendees to learn important daily phrases in different languages and obtain cards written in various languages.
In line with Al Ain University's vision to embrace multinational students, and nurture their talents, the theatrical show provided a unique opportunity to celebrate linguistic and cultural diversity. It highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting local languages as an integral part of the cultural heritage of societies.
