AAU and Elite School Develop the faculty member’s skills

 

Within the context of interaction with the local community, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi Campus, organized various workshops for teachers of the elite private school in cooperation with the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences. Presented by Dr. Mohammad Al Hourani and Dr. Bilal Obaidat from the College of Education at AAU.

Dr. Al Hourani presented a workshop entitled Modern Teaching Methods and Mechanisms of Application. The workshop included twelve strategies for training the teaching staff and enriching them with modern methods of teaching. While Dr. Obeidat presented a workshop entitled Classroom Management which focused on the general principles of educational management used by teachers in schools with an emphasis on the importance of classroom management and creating the right atmosphere for them, as well as motivating students to participate effectively and address behavioral problems wisely.

The aim of these workshops is to develop the skills and expertise of faculty members, which will positively impact the students' to enhance their skills and prepare a young generation with knowledge and capable of integrating into society.
