AAU Signs MoU with Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi to Enhance Library Collaboration
Al Ain University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi during an official ceremony held at the SUAD Library, attended by senior representatives from both institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Bertrand Haan, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, and Mr. Manival Balasubramaniam, Head of the University Library. Al Ain University was represented by Dr. Abdoulaye Kaba, Director of the University Library, and Mr. Wael Ahmed, Library Supervisor at the Abu Dhabi campus.
The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between the libraries of both universities by facilitating student visits and access to library facilities, as well as promoting the exchange of reference materials and scholarly publications. The agreement also includes organizing joint lectures and informational discussions, in addition to exchanging expertise and ideas in library and information science and other areas of mutual academic interest, contributing to the enrichment of the academic and research environment at both institutions.
