Taylor & Francis Publishing Forum on Research and Innovation with Al Ain University Participation
Recognizing the vital role of libraries and information centers in enhancing learning and supporting scientific research, Dr. Abdoulaye Kaba, Library Director, represented Al Ain University at a forum organized by Taylor & Francis in partnership with the Emirates Library and Information Association (ELIA). The forum, held under the theme “Advancing Human Knowledge: Research, Innovation & Ethics,” aimed to strengthen cooperation among libraries, research administrators, and the wider academic community.
A key highlight of the forum was a presentation by Dr. Sabina Alam, Director of Publishing Ethics and Integrity at Taylor & Francis (UK), who shared valuable insights on emerging ethical challenges in global research and publishing.
The forum reaffirmed the commitment of librarians and researchers across UAE institutions to fostering a collaborative, informed, and ethically responsible research environment, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and innovation.
