Al Ain University Students Participate in “Disability Expo 2025”
As part of Al Ain University’s efforts to enhance experiential learning and link theoretical knowledge with practical experience, 35 students from the Applied Psychology and Special Education programs at the College of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences participated in the first day of the “Disability Expo 2025,” held in Dubai from October 6 to 8, 2025.
The visit provided students with an exceptional opportunity to explore the latest technological tools, devices, and innovative programs designed to support and empower people of determination. They also learned about smart solutions and assistive technologies that contribute to inclusive education, as well as psychological and vocational rehabilitation for individuals with special needs.
This participation reflects the college’s commitment to enriching students’ practical experience, enhancing their awareness of the latest trends in Special Education and Applied Psychology, and developing their skills in working with various categories of people with disabilities.
The students praised the excellent organization of the exhibition and the advanced technological displays, emphasizing that this experience provided them with valuable real-world knowledge and practical exposure that will support their academic and professional growth.
