Students of AAU visit Expo 2020 Site

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses, in cooperation with Expo 2020 organized an introductory visit to the Expo 2020 site in Dubai, the largest event in the world, which is being held for the first time in the Arab world.

During the visit, the students were introduced to the international history of the Expo, its divisions, and existing construction work sites. The tour also included a full explanation of the exhibition objectives, reasons of establishment, the participating countries, as well as, recreational and educational activities.

The students went to the Emirates Pavilion, where they saw the under construction work of the wing designed in the form of a flying falcon, and will include four floors with a total area of ​​more than 15 thousand square meters. The United Arab Emirates, and its components stand out, especially in celebrating the values ​​of openness, communication and tolerance.

They also stopped at "Al Wasl Square", which is one of the most important landmarks of the exhibition and will constitute a cultural environment, touristic, educational and recreational destination.

Expo 2020 organizing committee praised the role of Al Ain University in promoting awareness among its students of Expo 2020.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition "Expo 2020 Dubai" will be held over a period of six months, starting from October 20, 2020 under the slogan "Connecting minds and making the future", and in participation of 192 countries.
