AAU Faculty Members and Students Visit the Book Fair
A cooperation between Khalifa Library and the College of Education, Humanities and Social sciences at Al Ain University, Al Ain Campus, organized a visit to Sharjah International Book Fair 2017, supervised by AAU librarians and Head of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Teaching Department. Where the faculty members from the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, and students from different colleges participated in the visit.
The visit was an opportunity for librarians to renew partnership and cooperation with publishers, distributors, and more importantly enrich AAU libraries with 2017 and 2018 publications for various disciplines and programs such as law, education, and communication. For the faculty members and students, the visit enabled them to see the latest publications and purchase the valuable books and references.
This visit comes from the AAU’s keenness to spread cultural awareness among students, and support reading as an important part of the evolution of society.
