Under the motto "Education: Reading, Creativity and Innovation" .. Faculty of Education at AAU organize a day to celebrate the students' projects and files achievement
Believing in the need to interact with the community and promotion, the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences at Al Ain University -Al Ain Campus- organized a special day under the motto"Education: reading, creativity and innovation", to celebrate the students projects and their achievement files, in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saif Al Hamid, Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President, Prof. Abdul Hafeez Belarabi, AAU Vice President, Dr. Nader Al Sanhouri, Dean of the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, college deans, number of the academic staff, students of the university, and a number of school principals in Al Ain.
The ceremony began with the revelations of fragrances from the Quran, followed by the word of the Dean Dr. Nader Sanhouri who welcomed all attendees, he said that this celebration is a tribute to the achievement files of the outstanding students, in addition to shedding light on the new programs of the college which aim to provide knowledge and broaden the students’ horizons.
For his part, Prof. Ghaleb El-Refae, AAU President stressed on the keenness of Al Ain University to embody and activate the vision of the United Arab Emirates of its wise leadership towards the development of knowledge, so this ceremony comes to exchange the educational experiences and learning, in line with the initiative of making the 2016 year as a reading year. Prof. El Refae also stressed on the importance of reading, which is the hub for the development of the educational process and the growth of the community, so Al Ain University is seeking to implement its strategy, which is to provide any academic reference dialed whatever the cost.
At the end of his speech, Prof. El Refae thanked the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for its continued support, and he also thanked the Board of Trustees of the university who spared no effort to make Al Ain University a scientific edifice towering manufacturing knowledge.
At the end of the ceremony, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saif Al Hamed and Prof. Abdul Hafeez Belarabi honored all those who contributed to the success of this concert, the participating students with their projects, and excellent students in sports and social activities.
The ceremony saw a large turnout, which contributed to the success of the event.
